"Our family, all originally from Cardiff, emigrated to South Africa. We lived on a mine near Witbank and when we heard that Cardiff were coming to town we had to be part of it.
So Mum booked us a meal in a hotel either on the stadium complex or very nearby. I don't think my parents knew that was where the team were staying but they were. So, either before or after the game we ate our meal and the team were milling around. Then we were able to gather all the signatures.
We all remember the day fondly (even my brother who was 10 years old)."
