All Black legend Lomu surprised the rugby world by joining the Cardiff side in season 2005/06. He made 10 appearances, scoring one try, in a come-back period after suffering severe kidney disorder and undergoing a transplant in 2004. Hugely popular with the Cardiff fans, he tragically passed away in 2015. He played 63 times for New Zealand, scoring 37 tries in the process.
