Grogg - Tom Shanklin
Tom Shanklin played outside centre for Cardiff and Wales. He was born on the 24th November 1978 in Harrow. He played for London Welsh and the Saracens before joining Cardiff in 2003. Tom represented Wales at U19s, U21s level and the Welsh 'A' team before making his first senior appearance for Wales against Japan in Tokyo in the summer of 2001 and scored 2 tries. He went on to win 70 caps. He was selected to tour with the 2005 British and Irish Lions team to tour New Zealand. Unfortunately he suffered a knee injury early in the tour which meant he was replaced. Shanklin retired from the game in 2011 due to injury problems.
