Originally labelled as presented by A. J. Stewart (to Dai Hayward)
This particular Springbok logo was only used from 1963 to 1964 and this type of jersey would have been worn by South Africa against Wales in Durban May 1964.
A match in which D. A. Stewart played for South Africa and Dai Hayward played for Wales.
It might be from that match but the lack of number is troubling, so could have been a spare.
Note, in 1962 there was a New Zealand trialist called A. J. Stewart so it's possible he could have presented it to Hayward.
