Andrew "Jock" Wemyss (pronounced "Weemz") (Born - 22 May 1893) played prop in fourteen matches for Scotland between 1914-22. Wemyss lost one of his eyes in World War I, but continued to play after the war. He played in the Scotland v France game January 1st 1920 - the first to be played after the ceassation of hostilities. The match was unique in that it was played by two sides whose players had each lost an eye during the conflict!
